BODY tag in Guide ML Preview
Mercury Started conversation Dec 31, 2000
I finally got around to writing my homepage intro today.
Took me ages to figure out why just the footnotes were showing up on my homepage when the whole text showed up in the preview - no tag.
Is there a reason why the preview page will show the entry even without the tag around it or was it not spotted.
Hope this help

The preview parser probably assumes that the BODY (& GUIDE) tags will be in the correct positions as they are automatically inserted when the page type is set to GuideML.

Well I dont think they were when i tried... I set it to Guide ML... then I got an error saying I could only have one top level element(refering to numerous tags I had in the article) so I added the and tags myself.... The page showed up fine in the preview but when I submitted it for real all that showed up were the footnotes untill I added the tags.
Maybe it was just being weird and computer-like, but thats what it did.

I'd have to see the page before the changes to make any comment.
