Me Me Me !!!1
Well then, My name is Pete and Im a Student studying Electronic and Software Engineering.My Interests Include:
- Electronics - Building circuits and alike, probably why im doing a degree in it, there must be some reason.
- Astronomy - I have had a great interest in astronomy for many years, my earliest memory of this was when Halleys Comet last graced our skies and I had to beg my parents to let me stay up 'late' to see it.
Despite having been brought a Telescope last Christmas I have not really had many oportunities to view the heavens. I have had my telescope out on many occasions although living in a city is not the best place for astronomy. Also, It is a very rare occurence for the sky to stay clear for more than ten minutes after I get my telescope out.2For me however, Astronomy is more than just standing outside freezing looking at blackness - Its not just about what you see through the eyepiece, its about knowing what you are looking at - and thinking about the vastness of it all. Astronomy is more brain fodder than eye candy and I enjoy reading many books on the subject. I even found this pretty picture in the Guide ML clinic of a lovely binary star system, with the gas being sucked from one to the other.

1I feel slightly guilty as this header appears to imply that I have a rather large ego, After thinking long and hard about this I realised that you probably came here to find out about me and I now feel somewhat alleviated. If you dont want to find out about me, you're in the wrong place.
