i am very confused. i used fontango to add my pic, i did everything you say to make it work, and it does, but only with netscape. i have been told IE 5.5 can see the pics but i have IE 5 and a mac and i can't see it. is there any way to fix it?

Can you let us know the A number of the entry that's not working? Then we can take a look at the GuideML you've used, and can help out.

By the way, we close for Christmas at the end of today, so if I don't reply today, my apologies...

the A number? *scratches head* uh, it's just on my first page, that number is U98482. i switched over to netscape and i can see it there just not in IE 5.
thanks.

Hi Glitter Girl.

Nice space! I've had a look, though, and I can't see any references to Fotango photos on that page... so it's a bit tricky for me to see the problem. smiley - sadface

I know Fotango had a few problems before Christmas, so it might have been that. The current photo you have on there has the right format PICTURE tag for off-site photos, so it *should* work in the same way if it points to a Fotango picture.

Could you let me know if the problem is still happening, and if so, could you show me an example? (You can always add a new Guide Entry to test it by following the instructions on the Contribute page.)

Thanks. smiley - smiley

i gave up on trying to use fontango. it seemed that everyone could see it but my version of IE5. netscape worked, but not IE. i am using it from my website and it works fine now. maybe it was just fontango, maybe it's IE5 for mac. i don't know. once i get some extra time i will try to test that fontango thing again and let you know if i can duplicate the problem.
thanks.

OK - well, let us know if the problem appears again... can't think what the problem was, but that's browsers for you! smiley - smiley
