Two accounts with the same name

I have accidentally started up two accounts with the same name. I've managed to get the password for one back, but now I can't log into the other one. This is a bit of a pain because all my guide and journal entries are currently stored on the account I don't have the password for. Is this a fixable problem? Or do I just consign my other entries to the infinite abyss???
Thanks

Hi highway_rose
Your other account is U39111. Email h2g2 dot support at bbc.co.uk and they'll sort this out for you. They only work uk office hours.
However, you can subscribe to your old conversations with your new account and if you need to work on any of the Guide Entries you can just make a new copy using your new account.

BTW, if you haven't accessed U39111 since h2g2 became part of the BBC, it probably won't be possible for you to have access to the account.
