I can't post to a journal conversation. The system keeps saying I'm not logged in when I am, and bringing me to the unknown hiker page. Then when it thinks I'm logged in, I click the link to write a reply and it brings me back to the unknown hiker page. Yet I can post here.

The link was http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/U24.

You're absolutely right, it's not just you. It may be something that's just gone temporarily dandy with that thread (trust a staff member!) or the thread may just be strange. Either way, give it a try later, and an italic will go and poke it in...around 9 hours or so.

You posted there previously though, I don't know whether that would change anything.

kow

I think U24 is a hub account, and unless you've agreed to the t&c's of that site you can't post to it. Single sign on for you.smiley - smiley

kow is right - if you haven't signed in to the Hub you won't be able to post.

Try going here: <./>/dna/hub/U24</.> and sign out and in again. It'll ask you to accept the terms, then you'll be able to post again.

What I do, in some kind of reflex, is change to the site of the user, just to see their space like they do, before I post. smiley - sillysmiley - weird

(The broken link T## did a better job, by showing the 'unregistered error' page on the originating site)

Hmm, GetWriting gives an IE error popup:
(though it does give the right < sign in > page)

Only showing on other sites prevents linking to self.

Wrong forum I know, just sticking to the topic
