When clicking on the 'Who's Online', I get an error message in the lower menue bar.

Scratch that - apparently, it's a pop-up blocker that never worked before. I wonder what activated it.

I have now deactivated the pop-up blocker, but it still doesn't work and gives me the error message.
So maybe it isn't my PC after all?

It does work again now, but it didn't work earlier today. Same with the 'my Conversations' pop-uip - it didn't pop up, but brought me to the page, i.e. it changed my URL in the upper menue bar. It does opo up again now. And I never had trouble before today.
And this morning, I had once again a similar problem (I had that before)that Clive had five weeks ago:
I couldn't preview any entries, when I tried, something weird happened to the page, and then a page opened with an empty box. I get my texts back when I go backwards, but if I refresh the page, it's really gone.
After a few attempts, it works fine again.

I don't know - but what has my router got to do with not being able to preview entries at times?

Sometimes I'm there and sometimes I'm not depending on if I'm using thissite or not I think.

The data is cached on multiple web servers, so you can appear and disappear randomly for the first five minutes you're online.

Any ideas about the other problems, Jim?

Sounds like browser configuration issues - popup blocker or something. We've not changed the way we pop up the Who's Online for a long time.

And I hadn't changed my browser settings, or pop-up blocker or anything else. It was fine again about an hour later. Very odd.

In that case, most likely was the javascript engine in your browser failing, which could be caused by anything - memory leaks, bugs in scripts, bugs in the engine itself. If you haven't quit and restarted your browser for a very long time, it can often start failing in odd ways. I find it's always a good idea to restart your browser now and again.
