eyup, In the old days I used to be Amigo.....I see my old homepage is still there, but the guide has made me sign up with a new id.......
it didn`t recognise me or my old password.
can I get my old life back?..or am I to be renamed forever?

The old account is pre-Rupert. I think that this is the first pre-Rupert account that would be migrated!
When you email, include the 'U-number' of the account (U105161) and any details that you can remember, such as the email address used to register it.

"Rupert" is the unofficial name given to the few months in 2001 while h2g2 was shut down, where it was moved from www.h2g2.com to the BBC.

That's odd - assuming you are sure you typed it correctly. It was the new email address given out last week specifically for SSO problems. The previous address people had been told to use for login problems was h2g2.support bbc.co.uk and that probably still works. I hope I broke that enough with the to stop spam programs finding it though.
