One of the clerks (there were two near) started at me asking 'What?', the other knew what I was asking for. They were both young.
So now I just made the ultimate test and asked my son who said: What?
Seems it's had his hayday a generation ago or so.

That's great, Bel. The only thing I'm not happy with now is the external page on the Maillard Reaction that you link to. Although it has a UK suffix, it seems to have been written by someone who doesn't speak English and has bad grammar and misspellings. I suggest you use this one instead:

Btw, I had a look on the list of ingredients on the Pumpernickel we sell in our shop, and they add parley malt and yeast.
