I have owned an 8mb Handspring Visor for a few months and I love it. I have a program called palmJournal on it that lets me record daily observations. When I sync info with my desktop, I get updated clipped pages from the web. I can send E-mail at that time and get new info to be reviewed later. The handwriting recognition is easy to learn and I also have a folding keyboard for longer inputs. The problem is that to update the H2G2, I would have to translate my journal through several formats, clip and then manually e-mail them. Please tell me that some clever soul has worked out a palmOS based program for this, to more quickly enable the Guide's modern being.

I would be interested in software like this as well, and I am also currently learning to program for the PalmOS, and if the software doesn't exist, I would be interested in contributing to its development.
Ideally, it should have some mechanism for being automatically updated during hotsync, to upload Guide pages you have written, download current conversations that you are participating in and send any replies you have to be posted.
If anyone is working on this software and would like some help, please contact me. I would be very interested in participating

I want to see this as well - The Guide will never be complete until it is portable and wireless PDAs are already strting to emerge. I would love to help with this if it is going to happen
