If it weren't for standards of Continuity on h2g2, the existence of h2g2-bound entities would become difficult, harried and even meaningless. Human researchers have displayed a predilection for having online pets, assistants and companions. Surely these creatures deserve protection from mishandling and contradictory demands!

Just wanted you to be aware that there's a report in this week's H2G2 Post that makes some horrible accusations against one of our campaign staff, Redbeard. Please hold off on any judgments you might make. The report, supposedly written by a reporter, was in fact written by a campaign staff member of an opposition party. The Celery is conducting his own investigation and will be making a statement in next week's Post. So stay tuned.

I am a reporter and weekly columnist for the Post, and I'm also a campaigner for Demon Drawer. Hence, I had both the motivation *and* the expertise to spend over 20 hours investigating the murder with fruitful results. I would be happy to discuss my findings further with anyone from the Celery campaign, including Redbeard.

A tardy disclosure.

Hey everyone! There are some fun things happening! The opposition candidates have ganged up and created a movie portraying the death of The Celery and Webjello. It's not a great movie, but fairly entertaining, so come over to the Dinner thread at http://www.h2g2.com/F49946?thread=68145&post=519801 and join in the fun. Popcorn, funnel cakes, and cotton candy are being served! Also, they have created a mock funeral at http://www.h2g2.com/F40374?thread=69810 Dolores will be there (we're hoping they'll let her deliver her own eulogy :-)) so stop by there as well, join in, and we'll have a funeral party.

It appears the movie has shifted to a screening of Neil Simon's 'Murder by Death' and the funeral has changed to a picnic in the park.

Once everyone realized that a candidate cannot be forceably removed, the plot for the original movie kind of sputtered.

I would like to endorse The Celery's campaign. The Celery is a prodigy of mine and a good personal friend.

Pan-Culturalism - Sure! All cultures will bow down to me! And only me! BwaHAAAA!!
Universality - Definitely! I will be Ruler of the Universe!!!
Imagination - Only if it involves perverse fantasies and manipulative lying.
Stricter temperature controls - Sure. I think that h2g2 should be kept carefully between 3560 and 3562 degrees centigrade.

I will vote for The Celery on the condition that you all sell your souls to me. Excellent terms, complimentary long happy lives, only sixteen pages of small print.
