I *really* think this should have been sent back to Entry - as proposed by BB. If someone wants to write a entry on grammar usage, they would be best placed to begin afresh.
Please reconsider.

Sites like this http://public.wsu.edu/~brians/errors/errors.html provide plenty of material for a substantial and interesting entry (or entries).
