Would you like me to copy over the Detection suggestion?

okay...here's two ideas actually...
*********IDEA #1*********
-Psionic masters can detect a person's brainwaves using telepathy
-Chi masters can detect a person's inner Chi
-Magic Adepts can detect a person's soul
-If the a person has less than 5 a catagory they are invisible to those searchers when the searcher is using their powers to find them...this invisibility decreases in proportion to the points in this catagory
0-5=invisible
6-10=can easily be masked by a small animal or something of the sorts
11-15=can be masked in a fair sized croud of people(40+)
16-20=masked by a large croud(80+)
21-25=masked by a fair sized crowd with many people who are high on that scale(croud of 40+ half of which are high on that scale)
25+=not able to mask
*********IDEA #2*********
-phobia overrides any other abilities like strong willed...see example:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/classic/FP1742576?thread=591654&post=6616371#p6616709
this idea could possilby be expanded to other abilities and disabilities...

I think that bigot should be a more detailed ability like phobia. A severe bigot would hate/look down on any other races while a slight bigot would only hate one. Or something.
Basic Suggestions:
Mystrunner Posted Mar 11, 2005
That would work. A moderate bigot would only hate one race, whereas a supreme bigot would hate every race, and social class as well, for added points.

I think you should add a simple table of advantages/disadvantages for the three ability sets (chi/magic/psionics) like how i was on another thread. It would make it easier for people to decide which way to go.
Basic Suggestions:
SuperMoo: Now With Even More Online-ness Posted Mar 11, 2005
it would also help in figuring out how each one works...like for Psionics it might include the fact that it uses Psi Latency Level and every spell with a value below that would be available to the castor...

EvilClaw: The Catmanthing Posted Mar 11, 2005
Yeah i'm still a litle confused about that.

Mystrunner Posted Mar 11, 2005
I'll work on explaining it better, certainly. Do you mean, a bulleted list of pros and cons?
Basic Suggestions:
EvilClaw: The Catmanthing Posted Mar 11, 2005
That would certainly be helpful. I was working on one earlier but i have a short attention span.

...I just remembered...there is a missing ability...I think it's quick reflexes or something of the like...I think it was one of the Subclass abilities for thieves...I'll have to look it up...
Basic Suggestions:
Mystrunner Posted Mar 23, 2005
I'm thinking of adding disabilities to certain classes and subclasses... anyone have any ideas? Something like Ugly for necromancers, so on...

EvilClaw: The Catmanthing Posted Mar 23, 2005
How about "Solitary" for Rangers, assassin's, and other classes like that? Rangers basically live in the middle of nowhere by themselves right?
Basic Suggestions:
Mystrunner Posted Mar 23, 2005
Very true. They wouldn't be quite as skilled in teamwork and with the use of social skills.
Basic Suggestions:
EvilClaw: The Catmanthing Posted Mar 23, 2005
Oh and um...
I'll think about the other classes.
Basic Suggestions:
SuperMoo: Now With Even More Online-ness Posted Mar 26, 2005
tieflings should probably be the same...
Basic Suggestions:
EvilClaw: The Catmanthing Posted Mar 26, 2005
I would think that tieflings might be bigoted but i don't know... don't races already have disadvantages built in?
