I may have missed a reference to this (the meet threads have become a bit unweildy!) but does anyone know if the comedy night might cause a problem? I've no idea of the pub layout/arrangements.

The comedy night apparently takes place in the basement bar, so I gather it shouldn't be an issue. I've yet to find out whether or not the rumours are true about 2legs intending on gatecrashing the comedy night so he can read out some badger poetry do a researcher recruitment drive, and unmask the identity of the compere (Nighthoover).

That's a relief. If the weather's anything like the last couple of days, the last place I'd want to be is an overcrowded, sweaty basement, so we may end up with an inadvertant gatecrasher recruitment drive *despite* 2legs.

Oh how I long to see nighthoovers bottom 
that didn't come out quite the way I'd intended 
RF mentioned that they might be having the comedy on, but i think he said we've the top bar and they are in the bottom bar
