In my experience these containers can be used for any number of non food uses. Any D.I.Y enthusiast will tell you about them. All those different sized screws, nails, hooks, nuts, and bolts all jammed into one tub! Many of the larger tubs may be used for draining oil into by the budding D.I.Y mechanic. The list could go on forever.
