I did.
And you're right, it was good. I missed it first time round. The sound bite and short attention span world doesn't lend itself to poetry reading, does it?

Yeah, my own online attention span is really pathetic lately. I find myself yawning after a very few words of anything, my mind drifts away from the topic. And often it's not the writer's fault but just 'something' in the the way we see and use cyberspace.
I am trying to perfect the four sentence/paragraph h2g2 posting. I find that anything more and the audience wanders.
Curiously, poetry is often short enough to be the equal of a good conversational posting. So it really should do better than any long descriptive prose or even longish revelatory narratives (depending on who is revealing what about themselves - someone like Ben can hold my attention for hundreds of words...)
It seems the nature of cyberspace is 'compression', we look for superficial quickies not depth. Trouble with poetry, no matter how short it is, if it's good it makes ya think. And we all know that an email should never ask more than one question.
That's four paragraphs,
peace

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
