h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Unfortunately I have not been consulted in any way during the process of this marketing-campaign.

I object most strongly to the use of towels as give-aways in an election-campaign !!
We have had to struggle for the liberty of Towels Everywhere for years, and what do we see ?
They are to be given to anyone without even so much as a towel-test ?
Have the towels in this universe not suffered enough yet ?

Before the presidential candidates make themselves vulnerable to impeachment, here are some excerpts from
the h2g2-constitution regarding towels :

Section 1.

All towels born or naturalized on h2g2, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are
citizens of h2g2 and of the researcher's page wherein they reside. Necessary
consultancy and advise will be administered by TowelMaster. No researcher shall
make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of towels of
h2g2; nor shall any researcher deprive any towel of life, liberty, or property, without
due process of law; nor deny to any towel within its jurisdiction the equal protection of
the laws.

Section 2.

Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof
the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the realm of h2g2, or any
place subject to their jurisdiction.

My towels are not meant to be oppressed, and I didn't mean to offend anyone/anytowel in doing so.

I was not previously aware of these rules and conditions, and therefore plead innocent on the pretext of ignorance. What do you suggest I do?

Regularly inspect the homes of those you hand out the towels to.
And report your customers to the ETO (Earth Towel Organisation) so they can keep an eye on things...
