this is one of my favourite pubs in Glasgow. I've just relocated to the South side so a bit difficult to get to now, but planning to go back next week. This pub fulfils the main criteria of pubs in that:
1. decent beer/whisky
2. interesting people to look at/talk to
3. you can usually get a seat, except on a Friday night
4. no (very) loud music
5. no dress code or bouncers
It also has some interesting decor and a kind of lived in, comforatble feel that you don't get in most theme pubs. (Uisge Beatha is a Scottish theme pub, but done in a good way). The only problem is that is doesn't stay open till 1 or 2 am, but this is a Glasgow wide problem, not just the Uisge Beatha.
