The info all looks pretty good, Opti, but there are two things that need to be fixed in accordance with house style (assuming this entry will be in Peer Review eventually):

a. The picture has to go, I'm afraid.

b. You can't link to unedited entries or, as far as I know, Researchers, so I'm afraid you can't use the links to John the Gardener and h2g2 Friends of Tibet. The Edited Friends of Tibet entry that you link to is fine. (However, you do link to it twice at the end!)

The content, however, is certainly sound!smiley - ok

Thankyou for a speedy response smiley - smiley

smiley - erm are you sure that we aren't allowed pics because plenty of edited entries have them

If your entry is selected as an Editor's Choice entry (there's one per day; it's the first one listed on the front page for the day) then it will get a picture specially designed for it by the Community Artists. Otherwise you can't have pictures. There is, I'm sure, some reasoning behind that that has to do with copyright and stuff, but I'm not quite sure what it is.

when reading the guide lines I found that pics from the H2G2 library were fine to use and that pictures outside H2G2 were not.

Well done! It's obvious that a lot of work has gone into this Entry. Some of the material has already been covered, but I think the approach you take with your new Entry is a very good one. Bringing together different views of the Tibet issue in one Entry is very useful and I think it works very well. By the time we reach the end of your Entry, the information about Gu-Chu-Sum seems to fit very nicely into the overall picture that you have created of conditions in Tibet.

The Header 'So what was Tibet like before China took over, after all this is what we want to restore right?' is a bit too long to fit the page as it appears on my monitor. You might want to shorten it a bit, to something like 'Tibet Before the Invasion' or 'Pre-Invasion Tibet'. You could then use 'So what was Tibet like before China took over, after all this is what we want to restore right?' as an opening paragraph.

Great stuff, opti! Keep up the good work. smiley - cheers
