In the knitting.

It's been years since I even attempted knitting, never been much good... I did once knit a really heavy duty scarf bout 8ft long... And I managed a baby cardigan and bootees when preg with me first, some 20+ years ago... Must have been me hormones...

My boss is trying to teach me (we are obviously QUITE busy!) and I just can't make my hands do it right!

My Gran taught me when I was about 3yrs old... Just the basic knit stitch to do dolls scarves..... Then as I got older she showed me "perl" stitch...
Never really took it up, and now with arthritic fingers, I don't think I'll get very far...

I'll get used to it though. Part of the problem is we're shuffling between two different offices in two different towers so there's a lot of walking in those in' shoes..

I don't envy you at all luv... Heels n walking.... They should pay you extra for it....

Fortunately the pay is nice. I don't think I'd sacrifice my feet to capitalism for cheap wages.

So long as you and the tootsies can survive at a reasonable rate...

I know I used to wear those things before.. surely my poor little piggies will adjust once more..

Back to knitting, hand knitted scarves tend to stretch as I've found out, I knitted a nice longish one, it's in Dr Who preportions I can wind it twice round my neck and the ends still poke out the end of my coat

I used to have one of those!!
