I'd like to see more opinion pieces in the h2g2 post. We need people to bring up things like our destructive attitudes from time to time.

So would I! 
The trouble with this article was that, seeing as I wrote it, I couldn't really promote it! 
I think it about time I created myself an archive for my contributions and the better editorials.

If you'd like to see more opinion pieces, you can ask for more. Or make it a regular-ish feature. The post could potentially be a great venue for discussion about all sorts of things - ranging from politics to the future of h2g2.
Maybe to kick it off, an opinion piece about how you think there should be more opinion pieces
