Shazz,
I gather this was written a while go, but it is so good i am sorry I haven't seen it before. in view of what has been said about the Edited Guide and Peer Review of late it should be required reading.
My best teachers were always the ones with a kind firm word and constructive criticism. Students work better for teachers like that, and truly blossom, and I am sure your pupils did too.
I have never understood why some choose to try and destroy every shred of confidence a person has, and it goes for the workplace as well as school. It is, really, a 'refined' form of bullying.
Thank you for putting this subject in to words. I hope it will encourage more people to have a go.

I can criticise the above piece as there are too many iiiii' s and not enough IIII' s. The eyesight and fingers are not of their best today

Sound truth when it was written and perhaps of even more pertinance today. Required reading of such might go a long way towards correcting some of the problems currently at hand and you're a wise soul to suggest such. Ah, if only more could see so clearly.
