Funnily enough I came across this entry as I was reading "Foucault's Pendulum" by Umberto Eco. At one point the characters are creating subjects for a fictious college called 'The School of Comparative Irrelevance'. Some of these subjects would make great topic for shortest books in the world. Here's a selection:
Urban planning for Gypsies
Antartic agriculture
History of Easter Island painting
Contemporary Sumarian Literature
Crowd psychology in the Sahara
Technology of the wheel in Pre-Columbian empires
Enjoy
