h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Greetings, fellow Hitchhiker's.

Here's my feedback on the new skins:

I just tried the Alabaster skin again. I had tried it before, but found that I prefered the GOO. I'm glad that there's a choice of how to display h2g2 though.

The Alabaster setting, on my computer anyway, makes things difficult to read sometimes. I prefer the dark background of the GOO setting. What I would like to see is a skin similar to the GOO setting, but with the goo replaced with somesort of control panel. Seems like that would be appropriate since the Guide from the series was a small electronic device. Perhaps the background could be a scene of stars.

Allowing users to set their own color settings would be cool too.

Also, I've noticed the smiley that people use in their posts on h2g2, and the yellow [babel] fish. Are there any plans for something similar with a Green Guy (from the cover of the books) graphic?

I'm sure they must have plans for more skins in the future, but how far in the future is anyones guess.

I do like the idea of having that little green guy as a smiley though. You'd have thought that they'd've had him as the one with the tongue out wouldn't you?

I was thinking that he (Green Guy. BTW, Does anyone know what his/her/its name is?)would be his own thing, instead of replacing one of the graphics already in use.
