Fresh Air and Exersize

Have any of you considered a full-scale extravaganza a la the Miss America Pageant? We could have, in addition to the swimsuit competition, an evening gown competition, a talent contest, and an inspirational essay on whatever topic seems to be de rigeur. There would be a celebrity host and a panel of has-been judges. The winner could get a bouquet of flowers and a tiara. Think of the spectacle! The excitement!
*shivers in anticipation*
*and cold, as the air conditioning is on a bit too high in the office for September*
Fresh Air and Exersize

Ah yes... I saw "Miss World" on TV when it was in the Millennium Dome, hosted by Jerry Springer. Very amusing as he spent all his time chatting up all the women, who, to be honest, were all fairly ugly. The most attractive person there was Miss Russia's interpreter - she was a beauty. And in the end, Miss India won, for the 38th time in a row. When she was asked who in the world alive today she most admired, she answered "Mother Theresa", even though she'd been dead for 3 years....
Ah yes, such quality and finese. I don't know how easy it would be to rival that on H2G2

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
