Then something should be done about it. We all need clothes and food, so we can't just stop going to one shop coz asurely if it's that bad then they're all guilty of buying from Taiwan etc.

maybe we should build local places in an eco way and use a eco processes to do stuff? like going green ect. bamboo floors or cork floors for example save on heating while being green

Someone mentioned cow methane above - could we give them an antacid tablet to stop them burping?

Who does the housekeeper employ to do her/his work?
My comment earlier on choosing between travel and meat was to do with if land is a scarce resource and we aren't letting the locals grow their own food on because we are using it for either meat or bio fuel which one would you be willing to give up. Meat or travel.
One of the thoughts I have about processed meat products containing mainly eyeballs, hoof and gristle is that it is good to use it all up isn't it. We wouldn't want to see it going to waste.
Not so many people buy the offal to cook any more. So it could either be thrown away or used.
Pass me that sausage!

why has no-one thought of the antacid before?
also on the methane in is often harvested to be used to power the farms so it isn't just realeased out into the o-zone

wello you'd hope they could use it to power something. If there's enough methane to make it worth while. Though it always puzzled me as to how they calculate how much there is. There are lots of farmers near me, and I've never seen anyone out in a cow field trying to measure stuff.

The cows do it themselves. The farmers train certain cows how to use gas meters and then the cows sneak off when most people aren't looking and type the results into computers that are disguised as cow pats.

The job used to be done by women, known as maids "methane analysis input data supervisors". Their computers looked like 3 legged stools. They were also subcontracted to undertake milk extraction.

it all comes from the poo that gets washed into a pond with a plastic cover actualy and they mesure as they use it and as for mesuring the burps and farts(burps make more) they do it inside not outside so in the stableish things

You'll have to find it from a public library then. It's worth looking at. It's very well written.
