IE: You'll have to try harder than that.
Ooh... I must be popular... people want to confuse me. ... Still, it's not hard. Please, go ahead, you won't have to try for long to succeed. Well. Unless I'm mean, like I was to Insane Endeavour just above.

*sob*
That's was just an appetiser! Prepare to be confused!!! (but not now - when it's off peak call times: oops)

oh, poor insane! Don't you get 24/7 free internet? **Njan does... free ISP, and no phone bills**
Actually, yes we have. Sorry, Ming!

Insane Endeavour Posted Jun 12, 2000
Nope... *sob, sniff*
And I've been on an hour... oops.
I should be revising for Maths GCSE tomorrow, but h2g2's a lot more interesting than tangents (which we seem to go off on a lot - like now) and sine and cosine!
Ok, I had better go actually! Cya all later!

Aah, I see. Yes, I have the same exam... luckily, my mum's friend is a maths teacher, so I'm getting her to help me do revision. But she doesn't arrive for another hour or two, so I'm leisurely reading through maths past questions, eating, and periodically checking h2g2.

Peter aka Krans Posted Jun 12, 2000
Err... okay where do I start...
I oppose negatively the opposition of the motion "This House Believes that Bubble Wrap Theft is Wrong".
And I think that maths exams are a right pain
No More Theft!
njan (afh) Posted Jun 12, 2000
hurrah!... join the team, Krans!
I am the chair-person for the side against the motion.. and Krans is my co-conspiritor.
Krans?? ... since when were you a galactic outlaw?
No More Theft!
Peter aka Krans Posted Jun 13, 2000
Galactic outlaw? Oh, yeah... since that unfortunate incident when the inspectors came round... they weren't from H&S, they were from the Governmental Inspection Directorate... now I'm a wanted man...
No More Theft!
njan (afh) Posted Jun 13, 2000
Oh, I see... in which case I'm to blame as well. They were my Deagles... hence I think I'll have to change my name as well. hereafter, you and I may be referred to as "The Galactic Outlaws*... *grins*
No More Theft!
Ming Mang Posted Jun 13, 2000
Right. *attempts to get this sorted out* Krans. Do you want to be put down as a supporter or and opposer?
It's OK, I'm suitably cunfused now. You can stop confusing me.
And I've already confused Njan. Twice.
Care to explain all the 'Galactic Outlaw' stuff to the rest of us?? Please? It's just that we're all taken up with curiousity... I am anyway...
And I'm beginning to sound like Marvin the Paranoid Android...
How depressing...

Don't get me started - I had a Maths exam today. Unfortunately I don't have a brain the size of a planet so I found some questions slightly difficult...

njan (afh) Posted Jun 14, 2000
There's always one really complicated one, isn't there... only they normally put it at the very end, and this time they put it part way through.
DId you remember to turn over and answer the question on the back?
No More Theft!
Insane Endeavour Posted Jun 14, 2000
I did!... this time, unlike my mock...
I don't think it went *that* badly. I wonder if we had the same paper? Which examining board did you do? And did you do higher or foundation?
I hate Maths. Luckily there's no more for me... EVER! (Unless I fail and have to resit - oh dear...)

oh.. I'm doing Maths A-Level.
Higher...
well, everyone in the country does the same exam (I think) so...
Yes, Ming. <>
No More Theft!
Peter aka Krans Posted Jun 15, 2000
Sorry Ming... I'll stop confusing you now... I oppose the motion, same as Njan.
The Galactic Outlaw bit? Read U125985 for the "official" version, and my Laboratory aboard the Space Station BigC (A302608) for the real version
No More Theft!
Ming Mang Posted Jun 15, 2000
Right. I'll go and add you now, then (wierdos, the pair of you...)
Cracked?
*looks innocent and surprised*
Who, me?
*points to self*
Uh-uh. Not me...
So, explain why you're so keen to let other people steal your bubblewrap?
¦M¦
No More Theft!
njan (afh) Posted Jun 15, 2000
I'm not. I don't want my bubble-wrap stolen. But the organisation of which I am a member stea... uh... appropriates... bubble-wrap, in order to fulfil it's plan of world domination. Hence by banning the theft of bubble-wrap, we'd be at a disadvantage.
