I spent quite some time working in Singapore and can relate entirely to what you are reporting. In Chijmes I remember the China Jump bar, with its speciality cocktail - the one-o-one, which as I remember consists of a large quantity of white spirits and a bottle of champagne (this serves about 10 glasses!). The price is calculated by selecting from three gold envelopes, containing $0, $100 and $200, so choose WISELY!!!!!
Thanks for the memories - due to the above some of them are quite hazy!!
