when you've got teenagers around and you're sitting wishing you'd known then what you know now and you know you can't tell them a thing.
In 15, 20 years they'll sitting wishing they'd known then what they know now and knowing they can't tell the teens a thing.
And I'll be sitting there thinking yeah, now don't you wish you'd listened...
Kind of reassuring in a way. Continuity and all that.

Hi Waz, for your post, its good to get some feed back on articles, and I hope you enjoyed it
As they say "hind sight" is a great thing, I only wish that I could be around when one of my daughters comes to that time in life when they have to take that massive choice of selecting a partner, and then be willing to stick with it even when you know that you have made a mistake
Smudger,

I did enjoy it, though it seemed a little regretful.
Not quite sure how to interpret your ''. You think mistakes should be stuck with?

Hi Waz, It was a bit regretful, you see over the years while I was wroking away from home all the time, I never noticed that gradually we (my first wife and I) were growing apart.
It wasnt until after 23 years of marriage that I noticed it
when I was working on a site close to my home, so I could drive home every day. It was then I noticed that we had nothing left in common, and had actually got used to living apart.
The&, were not probably the best smileys to use there?
Smudger,
