I think that the heading "Why Bottle Feed?" should be changed to "Why Formula Feed?" to really point out the difference between bottle feeding which can be literally anything, and those who are feeding formula. My son's first year included lots of bottles, out of which he had (at varying times) breast milk, cow's milk forumla and soya formula.

And I just thought - you've mentioned about bottle warmers, but it might be an idea to add in that there isn't any need to warm the milk unless it's come out of the fridge. Breast milk isn't really that warm, and feeding a baby warm milk encourages it to nod off halfway through.

Emmily -- I'd probably agree with you about advising against it, but I would also mention that some people do it. Basically, a "Some people do this, but it isn't recommended because of this" type sentence.

I think the section on bottle warming already explains that babies don't need heated bottles, that room temp can be fine -- we can expand on that, though, if needed. I do think it might be a good idea to change that header to "Bottle Temperature", though. And we definitely need to move the point about not microwaving from the "points to remember" section to the section on bottle warming/temp.

Hmmmm I think there's a few of those 'points to remember' that can be moved to other sections. I'll take anoher look later, and deal with the others points too.

Whatever happened with this one?

The intension was to put it in PR at about the same time as the breastfeeding Entry, which is also on hold partly due to the author being busy with a new baby, amongst other things.

Somehow it just wouldn't feel right to put it in PR without the breastfeeding Entry. Although I chose to bottle feed and believe in choice, I can accept the importance of breastfeeding.

Hope that makes sense
