as a driver i have always considered cyclists to be a nusance.
all other road users who slow people down (except lorries who to be fair to them are not as slow) get out of the way and let people pass. horses, tractors, ect. however cyclists never ever allow people to pass.
but thats not what i am here to talk about. i am here to comment on their apparent absence or respect (or knolage) for road law. at first i thought they only ignored the law when it was safe to do so, they cut red lights at crossings but this is ok because when they do it noone is in their path just like motoists exceed the limit when there are no hazards like parked cars and corner.
however as a pedestrian i have since been hit by 2 cyclists while useing a crossing to all of a sudden they dont just cut the light when it is safe to do so they cut the light weather someone will get hit or not.
