A Conversation for CYCLISTS & WHY I HATE THEM
Why do you hate cyclists ?

Shouldn't your story have been entitled "Cyclists and why I hate the RECKLESS ones" ? Do you *really* hate *all* cyclists ? Do you hate me ? I cycle 8000 responsible miles a year, I wear a helmet, I cycle only on roadways and designated cyclepaths, when I have to negotiate a pavement I dismount and push my cycle, I have third party insurance (for the benefit of others, as per the definition of "third party"), I stop at red lights, I obey the highway code, and I do not give rude or offensive gestures, even when an inconsiderate motorist cuts me up (and this happens often).
There are many cyclists out there like me. I'm sure there are also many good drivers, yet I acknowledge that sometimes it is tempting to imagine they are all as bad as the worst of their kind. Even so, I manage to resist the temptation to post irresponsible messages (such as yours) on this site. In my view, such tripe will only ever serve to further sour relations between cyclists and motorists.
Why don't you channel your energy into doing something positive towards solving the problem of the reckless cyclist. Or could it be that whinging is easier ?
