They are now almost starting to resemble actual lettuces. Tiny actual lettuce, but still 
Come next wednesday I'm heading off for a week or two out west. Bet the buggers will be deep fried when I get back. Plucked some radishes today though for a sandwich - nice and crunchy, but not hot enough! They were 'French Breakfast' variety. A bit more bite than the globe ones though.
Beans are starting to swell up a bit too. I just don't have the room for all the stuff I want to grow. I'd love to have an allotment or something (Shit, I sound about sixty! )
