Happy St. Patricks' Day to all. Blessed be the GREEN THUMBS!!!!
I am seeing daffodils, panseys, crocus and an early spring in the Pacific Northwest this year. smiley - somersault In Oregon (Salem, to be exact) it is usually rain, rain, rain, and more rain. I am finished tilling the vegie garden, and have almost completed the greenhouse for my favorite plants; Medicinal Herbs. Golden Seal, Myrhh, Valerian, etc. Also some wonderful hothouse tomatoessmiley - tongueout
We have beautiful heathers, and various ornamentals as well as lovely camileas.
I find this area to be similar to Southern Wales and England (the Cotswolds) and the like and would soooooo like to know how does your gardens grow?
To all the British Isles a GREAT BIG smiley - kiss

Hi Cerridwen,

How's the weather compared to New England? It sounds not quite so hideous smiley - winkeye

Going to sow some tomatoes soon too. I don't have a greenhouse so I just keep them indoors until they are well started, and don't start them too early, and usually they don't seem to mind. Got some Gartenperle seeds. Never tried them before, but supposedly they are good for containers and hanging baskets, so hopefuly the garage wall will be a mass of edibility.

Nice to see you by the way smiley - biggrin
