oh brilliant - do you mind if I save that and post it? And you've just reminded me that I took a photo of the seatcover on the Transpenine Express on my way to the Manchester meet. I'll have to resurrect my blog!

Course not, that's what I took it for! 
You know, with such a specialist niche, you could well become the world's leading authority on public transport seat fabric! Wonder if you could get a lucrative consultancy position out of it?

Did I tell you that the blog justified itself last year when we went to Berlin, first class, on the ICE. They had mucked around with the carriage/seat numbers and we ended up in 2nd class, even the ticket controller didn't tell us 
, until I remembered that I'd photographed the seatcovers and could haul us off to the correct place 
If you see any more good ones, bung them over!
