giving you the address where you can buy one was a joke - and considering we live in Germany, a bad one. Buying the Baker is just the beginning. Someone in the know totted up the total cost for the first bullet fired...you might find yourself on the wrong side of €3K.

oh I appreciated getting a look at the details
I really really would love to have a go at loading and firing a Baker rifle, or even a musket, as I'm quite keen on shooting.
But €3k?
I've had a go at a lot of weapons, includig some rather spiffy (and heavy) machine guns, but for me, something like a Baker rifle is just.... mmmmm

It IS. Something like "back to the roots". And I´d rather buy a Royal Oilfield (sorry - Royal Enfield) than a modern Japanese bike. Mother firm in England went bust in 1960, their shop in Madras still build the 1954 model.

my grandad used to have a Triumph Tiger which we all loved. Later I used to watch the White Helmets on theirs but it wasn't the same.
