Hi Sho!!
Just thought I would pop in here to say thanks for your comments on Birdwatching.
All the 'I' bits now amended, and article put on Peer review.
Thanks again

Good. I'll have a look (because I'm not really sure how this peer review thing works......)
I look forward to seeing it appear in the edited entries list - Twitchers are a dying breed I think, so all encouragement is good.

Wow! It's spooky---- I was thinking about you yesterday (missing you, actually!)
So, how are you? How's it looking on the job front? Any more pending entries??
I have been busy (too busy for much h2g2 activity, alas) but I was recently in Korea and wrote a diary (if you're interested they're - yes, 5 of them - on my user page)
Merry Christmas,
"see" you soon, I hope...

Guten Morgen!
Maybe Father Christmas will bring you a good job on Monday..... don't forget to leave him a mince pie and a carrot for the reindeer.
My kids are driving me nuts singing Jingle Bells (they only know the first 2 lines) and asking when FC is coming - as far as I can tell he's not because my husband smashed up my car yesterday, and we need a replacement pronto. Sigh. Still, I tell myself, at least he and the kids are ok.
off to knit a christmas stocking...

Never mind, dear....
Lennon/McCartney summed up Christmas brilliantly......
'All you need is love'
BTW...... I know that 'Silent Night' is really 'Stille Nacht'.....
What is 'Die Deutche' for 'Jingle Bells'!??!?!?

All I need is love and about DM5,000 (any offers???? )
Is this you outing yourselfe as a Beatle fan? (I am - just got 1 for my birthday, brilliant - even though I have them all already)
Ah. Jingle Bells in Deutsch. That would be "Jingle Bells" (they also sing Happy Birthday in English) My personal favourite is "O Tannenbaum" (Oh Christmas Tree) which, as you probably know, is the same tune as the Labour Party anthem. Always makes me giggle.
Got a car yesterday, still really really mad at the old man. Sigh. Christmas isn't going to be a lot of fun for either of us, 4 days together, he's not working until 26th...... oh well, at least I'm getting some nice new Lego (construction kit with a digger with flashing lights) and a dolls' house.... I'll have plenty to take my mind off it. And now I have a nice shiny new all-singing all-dancing PC at home I can at least look at h2g2 and have a laugh.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you on 23rd, and wish you everything you wish for yourself for the festive season and for 2001!
