But you'de probably be better not passing it on. Seems to me as if the girl's come to her senses just in time. Most of the year running outdoors is too cold and otherwise miserable. It's not sexy (unless you're Flo Jo and she had other problems) Once you've got suckered into doing one for charity, it'll be 15 years before you have the will-power to say no. Tuck her up in bed and give here lots of hot drinks. It's OK for you and hubby - you're adults.

But I have to say... a lifetime of running has given me, apparently, the sexiest legs in my office. And I have a good 20 years on most of them

bless her socks - she was still coughing as though she's had a 40 a day No6 habit all her life. But she's determined to resume running as soon as she's better. (it helped that her best friend did 20 laps)

But she couldn't do her own run, so she's a bit sad about that.
