...we haven't talked in a while, sorry. I've been following your journal entries etc but didn't respond to the 'ramble' one 'cos I've been on such a downer all week anything I said sounded melodramatic!

Been smiley - ill since Tuesday and am now thoroughly fed up with it!

Spouse has had to go visiting by himself today so I don't give the lurgy to older relativessmiley - sadface

Things are a bit of a pain all round, really, but we keep going, don't we? It's that Yorkshire Gritsmiley - biggrin

Anyhow, see you aroundsmiley - cheers

Oh I'm sorry you're feeling yukky - and no need to worry about whining at me, I don't mind at all (often it makes my "problems" seem very trivial)

I hadn't realised how boring and whin(e)y the ramble one was until it was too late. ho hum

Today is a not too bad day. Due to a silly mix up with my old scanner, I found myself in an electrical shop with some money to spend, and bought 2 cheapo mp3 players. I've been having fun putting music on them (well, not too much fun, but now I know how to do it, it's excellent)

do you need a smiley - doctor or smiley - nurse or maybe a look at the smiley - drool thread might help. In any case this usually does the trick smiley - tea

smiley - tea will be lovely, thanks.

Might pop over to the smiley - drool thread, though, especially as Spouse is outsmiley - winkeye

I didn't mean your thread was boring, I didn't want to fill it up with my own whining is all!

I've been having tests for stuff recently, from which they've found stuff they weren't even looking for...and now I have to have more tests for the second thing too. Added to this week of feeling unwell and I'm a really miserable lump smiley - blue and trying not to post too often in case I brass everyone off!

Nice to hear from you though - and I looked at your wooden-stuff photos and especially liked the sheep light thingy. When I lived in Germany I bought a plant pot decoration which is a ladybird on a fake (wooden) spider-plant leaf. The kittens now take great pleasure in removing it from any pot it graces!

I don't mind other people whining on my thread, keeps it all tidy you know.

Plant pot decorations seem to be all the rage here - so I'm hoping that now I'm getting more confident with the designs (the bee was stolen as a Walpurgis night "prank" smiley - grr) that I can make a few to sell via eBay.

Sorry to hear that the smiley - doctor found stuff they weren't looking for when they tested you - but then, it is better to know? or not. I need to go to the OB/GYN for my regular check - but since I haven't been since right after gruesome #2 was born, I'm a bit worried about what they might find.

Silly, eh?

I suppose it's better to know in the long run - it's the endless days spent waiting around between tests and appointments while your mind makes up all sorts of scenarios...then you get even more stressed, which does not help anything!

Anyhow, it's really nice to talk, even though I know I'm being a bit coy. I do like a bit of anonymity and that seems to feed into my postings.

If you haven't had any worries since G No.2, then there shouldn't be anything to worry about. Thinks. Ah. That was what I thought. smiley - run

Only joking, you are not me and you will be smiley - ok

Ah, I'm sure if I had something I'd... well, actually...
smiley - run to make appointment with smiley - doctor

I was taken into hospital recently (after an h2g2 mini-meet, rather ominously) with what I thought was a heart attack. When the symptoms subsided, I wanted to go home, but since I was miles & miles away, and smiley - chef and the gruesomes were away, I decided to stay and have a ... well, a camera stuck down my throat.

And discovered a hernia, a large liver (nothing to worry about there) and a very tasty radiographer.

Oh yes, you can't take the smiley - drool out of the girl!

Fine now - training for a 10km road race, so it can't be bad.

Dr Who - how fantastic was that??!! The Gruesome Twosome are also firm fans now, which is great.

Of course having a Dr to smiley - drool over is a big help!

Ah yes, such a shame he had time to put his clothes back on last week, eh?

I enjoyed tonight's episode - Rose is getting quite full of herself now, but not too annoying yet.

Must stop watching the trailers - need more willpower!

nah, the trailers are fab.
except - I wish I hadn't known the Dalek was coming. that would have been absolutely fantastic seeing that as a surprise.
