I'm sure she doesn't mind
hi
finals week, eh? How's it going (your finals? do you have plans for afterwards?)

If you say so I tend to cause topic drift
Don't ask My main project is due in four weeks and I just had to start over...
Afterwards... Immediately afterwards, we're taking an Uni trip to Romania
How's it going at your end?

well, my job for the mental Koreans is making me prematurely grey (thanks to Mr. L'Oreal for saving me from looking too )
school holidays started today, not too much of a toil since lost his job and now works part-time some evenings. I can't say it helps make ends meet, but it keeps him sane.
and he's at home most of the day so I don't have to kick the Gruesomes over to a childminder.
And a week on Sunday we're driving to Wales. Camping.
*memo to self: pack snorkel and flippers*
sorry to hear about your project - but the prospect of a trip to country has got to be worth hanging on to. Don't forget to pack lots of garlic, a stake or two and religious paraphenalia.
Of course, you could get lucky and meet Spike

Sounds like a convenient arrangement at least for the holidays, then
Wales sounds fun!
And Doubt we'll meet *him* - but luckily, I had to write a report on vampires, so I know all the methods of fighting them, now...

Wales sounds wet. And cold.
but we're attending a family wedding, and will be near enough to Cardiff to visit filming locations and take
to drool at the Milennium stadium.
Shouldn't you be working on your project?

I like wet and cold better than too hot. Have fun regardless
I am, sort of. Busy downloading and installing some software I need to do the calculations

Sho - employed again! Posted Jun 21, 2007
I'm a mum
that sounds like a "homework excuse" to me

I'm hoping she's going to start a thread...

Where in Germany are you, near Aachen, wasn't it?
Poor B'El
Sho - employed again! Posted Jun 21, 2007
Me? I'm actually in Erkelenz
hence I said you could get the Wupper express from Wuppertal and it stops right in my wee town
Poor B'El
Malabarista - now with added pony Posted Jun 21, 2007
Ah, I see That really isn't terribly far, then. Just asking because I go to Aachen on a semi-regular basis

Sho - employed again! Posted Jun 21, 2007
whereas I, who live a lot closer, almost never go
although I have to visit the Lindt factory in search of Lindor
Poor B'El
Sho - employed again! Posted Jun 21, 2007
if you go on the train you can wave as you whizz through Erkelenz.
I live nowhere near the station but I'm sure some kind of h2g2 equivalent of "spidey sense" would let me know of another researcher's proximity
Poor B'El
Malabarista - now with added pony Posted Jun 21, 2007
Sure, I'll give you a wave.
And luckily, they sell the cheap Lindor at Uni, there's an advantage to being a student
Sorry if I'm slow now - homework avoidance has progressed to the extreme of doing the dishes!
