Hey Steffi!
Good result the other night! You must be pleased. How was it? First I heard the ol' man ran up and said a Celtic supporter had been shot.... he didn't know that I "know" someone who was there. Sheesh, I was watching the news all night waiting for the riot reports.
Anyway, hope everything went well, and that the Extreme Shopping (lol!) didn't make too much of a dent in the bank balance!

Yuhuuu!
Aye, we had a great time. It was not me who was shot... Uwe and I went to the match in Glasgow, too, but Celtic lost that one. Anyway, they are through, playing in the CL now. Heee- heee!
Scotland is very, very lovely, but the weather is sh**e. It was raining ten out of 14 days, can U imagine that? And coming back to Germany yesterday, we found that the weather here has obviously been perfect!?! Mpfh. The only good thing about being back home is my bed which I really missed when lying in the tent on a leaking air- bed.
I've got a massive washing to do. My whole flat smells like freshly- washed towels and stuff. Lovely, but I have no idea where to dry all the stuff!
C U later, dear, I am on my way to Osnabruck to watch Celtic play the Hibs with a good friend. Ta Ta

Watching Celtic play Hibs.... in Osnabrück? That's wierd!!
Sorry you had bad weather in Scotland... they are famous for it though. Here it's been too hot IMO, but I've been off work this week, so I could stay in the house and be naked a lot (much to the amusement of my kids!)
Off to swealter in the playpark now... sigh.

Kis are a divine present, aren't they? Lol! In fact I love children, but I am too much a kid myself to be a Mum at the moment. But Spielplatz sounds nice, I love the Swings! (Get off, Kid, this is MINE!!!)
Our friend receives Sky Digital, and driving to Oz and back is less expensive than watching the match (we won 4:1!) in an Irish Pub where you pay about 6- 7. 50 Mark for half a liter (not even a pint) of beer. Two of us, we both like beer.... bye bye 100 DM.
Tomorrow I am finally going to collect my rats from the friend who looked after them during our holiday. I could not get her on the phone today, so I gotta wait another day. The wee monsters might have forgottenme?!! ~~~(,_,)°> Can't wait to get them back.
So far for this time, I fancy a nice BBQ on the balcony. My neighbours are gonna hate me!

Well.... I hate football... so we don't do too much watching of it. But I know what you mean, years ago we used to watch Rugby in MacGlaughlins (or however it's spelt) in the Altstadt. Really thirsty (and expensive) work watching rugby!
Love your little rat thing.... how are the little blighters?
It's a relief to be back to work this week, the kids fair wore me out! So, all set for England/Germany on Saturday........?

Hi there,
no, it is McLaughlin's. Nice pub, but O'Connells near the Rhein is (in my eyes) better. McLaughlin's is nice to get... erm... pyst.
I don't care about England- Germany, because I don't like either of them. I am looking forward to Croatia- Scotland, although it is hard to decide for me who to support. I think it's gotta be Scotland. Luv it! My boyfriend and I will go to Bruxelles next Wednesday when Belgium plays Scotland. I can't wait for that party!!!
I know what you mean when you say the kids wore you out. A friend of mine has three daughters. 8, 4 and 2 yrs of age. Wonderful wee lassies, but a pain in the youknowwhat sometimes. He uses to complain that if he got a pence for each "Daddy", he could be a rich man. And my mother used to say "girl, I give you money, but please shut up!" I bet she loved me when I was 3 yrs old...

I'm going to a friend's house for the weekend. Just her, me, her girls, my girls... no guy stuff at all (at the request of our 4 girlies!) So hopefully, by the time I get home the rest of the villagers will have left the area around my front door where they will congregate to laugh at the English Loser family!
Little kids can be hard work, it's true, but they're so cute when they're asleep......
Ho hum. Off to earn a crust...

Lol... English loser family... I don't think England's gonna lose. Have you seen our manager? Tante Käthe Rudi Völler? I think the rest of your village will be hinding in their beds when you and the girlies return. Anyway, a no- guy- weekend sounds great... wish I could join you! Tell me about it when you are back, okay?

Well.... ohmygodI'mstillstunnedfromSaturdaynightsfootball!!
The weekend was great. Saturday evening I said to my friend (also English) oh, btw, did you know... football tonight... so we had a look. 1:0 to Germany.
I put all the kids in bed and she got the wine, so we thought "just have a look... so I can console the hubby... 5 minutes max" and she shouted to me (I was in the loo) "oh 3:1" so I said ok, switch off... "no no no, we're winning!" so on our man free girly weekend we were running round her garden in Wuppertal singing until the neighbours told us to eff-off!
heh heh heh
Scotland, I have to say, should have done better though. Still, back to normal on Wednesday when we lose 7-0 to Albania....
Porr ol' Ollie Kahn, I nearly felt sorry for him. Almost. heh heh heh
I decided not to wear a t-shirt with 5:1 on it this morning... but you never know... haven't been in the canteen yet!

tee- heee! I prefer to say that Liverpool slaughtered Germany 5- 1, so as a Scotland supporter I can still celebrate it... Well, I use to feel sorry for Olli Kahn since I saw him the very first time. Poor lad, he must have had a bad accident with his face! He, no, not really. I must admit that he is a brilliant keeper, best in Germany, and he uses to speak out freely what he thinks. This is rare.
I will go to Bruxelles today where Belgium plays Scotland. I haven't got high hopes... to be honest, I haven't even got tickets, but my boyfriend and I plan to sit in a nice pub and watch the match on the tellie.
Glad to hear you enjoyed your weekend, Dear! I am going to tell you about Brux when we are back, ok? C ya!
P.S. A 5:1 shirt might not be the best idea...

Hey, looking forward to hearing about Brussels...
I didn't wear the 5:1 t-shirt, I just smiled sweetly at everyone here... heh heh heh I'll be laughing on the other side of my face when they get beaten by Albania tonight.
Don't drink too much Stella Artois or eat too much yummy Chocolate.....
