Well, it doesn't scan properly and it's bad tempered.
Maybe it was written by a more cultured Vogon?

It came to me, more or less complete, while gridlocked in a mall car park.
I don't like it at all, which is why I credited the Vogons. I'm not really as cynical as I sometimes write. It's just an easy way to make a noise, really.
The piece Shazz picked out for the Christmas edition of the Post has some similarities. I like that better, and some thought went into it, but the splicing shows. Particularly the first-paragraph reference to a character who never turns up. Salutory that I'm still making mistakes as basic as that.
