By the way you omitted to mention the names of the stars in Orion's belt, as well as his right leg and one shoulder. Here they are:
(reaches inward with the Force, calling upon long term memory enhancement skills with the power of a Jedi Master)
The three stars of the belt are: Alnitak, Alnilam and Mintaka. I know this since Vulcan(of Mr.Spock fame) is based around one of these stars in the original Star Trek series.
One shoulder is defined by Betelgeuse, as you have pointed out, and the other one is known as Bellatrix(remembered that due to the similarity in names)
The right leg star is known as Saiph. I don't have much of a reason for remembering this, aside from the fact that my experimental interdimensional space drive conked out last week during testing, dumping me in the immediate neighbourhood of Saiph. After three hours of repairs, it turned out that I still needed more velocity than my conventional drives could muster, so I employed the celebrated "gravitational slingshot" manoeuvre and got back to Earth in time for lunch too.
