STRANGELY STRANGE ( A brain on a spring )

It may not be as well known as some things these days but it makes a lovely easy cooked pudding, just adding sugar and a little water can give a tasty pudding. If I ever had a garden all to myself Rhubarb would be one of the first things I would plant!

SS, Apparently it is back in fashion again, so perhaps we can look forward to some nice rhubarb in the shops.

I used to grow two types, a sweet and a sour (no idea of type!) but my other half was the gardener then, and one Autumn he threw them both away smiley - grr I say gardener, well he did the manual work and I did the aftercare smiley - rofl

I have a drawerful in the freezer which someone gave us, so I must do a crumble, but I shall add other fruit to give sweetness rather than a lot of sugar.

Thanks for all the info. Nigel, I learn a lot smiley - smiley
