Under the old system the Powers generally ignored us lot and left us to play in the mud, so long as we didn't fling too much mud in their direction. Now the Powers are us, it raises new and interesting questions.

What if the Chief Cat Herder finally decided enough was enough and started to wreak havoc? Do we have the capabilities to form a coup, or would it have to be a decapitation strike? How would we deal with loyalists?

(Please note this is all extremely and not in any way a criticism of anyone)

Crikey that's an interesting question.

I suppose the background question that would need asking first is: how many of "us" are actually "in charge"? How big and diverse is the group with powers? Because if it's a reasonable size and cross section, I think the powers would police themselves. If its very few and they're all besties... well, quis custiodiet and all that, indeed.

Seriously. I'd except the CEs to escalate to Aly, and then her to the board, of which the Community consortium is only 1/3. So the other 2/3rds could out vote me, and tell the CEs to ban me.

I also think that if I went totally mad, everyone's got each other's phone numbers and the whole thing could happen in an afternoon.
