I travelled to this place some years ago with my son, daughter and grandson just to see the castle http://www.alnwickcastle.com/ where the outdoor shots of Hogwarts are filmed
My son even posed a Harry-landing so I could photograph it.

Okay! I've stuck that into it. Thanks for the welcome, by the way. This was my first entry written :D I wrote it a couple days ago, just found out how to upload :D

Now just to find out how to make the pages look pretty :D

Also, I am a Flash Animator (One of the ones mentioned in the entry) and I am making a Hitchhiker's Guide To Alnwick on Flash. So if I ever get it finished, I'll link it onto this site!

Remember that a passing alien may not appreciate alcohol and might want to know about other things in the town.

Isn't there a modern garden there that's supposed to be very good ?

Also I've found that people's idea of geography tends to be somewhat vague once you get past Newcastle, so perhaps worth mentioned that its in Northumbria, in England.
