Apart from the particularly obvious idea of using the machine as a doorwedge - a purpose for which it is perfectly shaped, I'm wondering what happened to all the machines that didn't end up binned.
Mine was sold (many years ago) to a friend who was a bit of an electronics nut. He ripped the thing to bits, wrote a new ROM for it, and to the best of my knowledge it's still running the burglar alarm system for his farmhouse!
