Christmas Poetry Competition 2004
For the fourth year running we are pleased to offer our readers the chance to show off their poetic skills in the h2g2 Post Christmas Poetry competition. This year there will be two categories:
- Christmas Prose and Poetry
- A Vogon Christmas
All you have to do is to choose a category1, write your masterpiece and send it in using the email addresses provided below. You must supply your h2g2 researcher name, your h2g2 reseacher number and clearly title the piece. All suitable2 entries will be featured in The Post over the coming weeks and a vote will be taken by the readers of the Post to find out which poem they prefer. The winner will be announced in the Christmas Issue of the Post.
THE RULES
Please note extended voting and winning entries dates!
- The last day of entry for the competition is MONDAY 13th DECEMBER 2004.
- You may only submit one poem for each category and it MUST be your own work.
- Untitled entries and those not clearly stating h2g2 user name and number will be rejected, sorry.
- Voting will start on Thursday 16th December 2004 and finish on Monday 3rd January 2005.
- Only one vote per researcher will be accepted and you cannot vote for your own work.
- If there is a tied vote, then the Post Team will cast the deciding vote.
- All suitable entries will be displayed in the Post during the forthcoming weeks.
- The winning entry will be announced in the New Year Edition of The Post, on Thursday 6th January 2005
