Hello. Please read
The Crowne Plaza is a hotel at the bottom of Broad Street. I think someone might be staying there.
The Travelodge Broadway Plaza is a completely different hotel where most people are staying at.
I live in Birmingham so if anyone would like any assistance with anything please feel fee to drop me a line.
I quite like the 'a lad called sequenci', being 30 I'm not called a lad that often haha
Best wishes,
Seq

Did I post the wrong link? That is well spotted if so as OH and I would be booked into the wrong hotel - and knowing us we would turn up at the hotel we meant to book giving out that they were a bunch of imbeciles!! .
Oh well Cap'n tis a pity that you are not joining us.
Sequenci you sound younger on the Chatterbox although seeing as I am 38 that probably makes me a smug old married one to your youth!!.

Teaching youngsters anything takes someone with the patience of a saint.
I have not missed the mortgage payment yet - there is not enough money in the bank to cover the direct debit - although its looking better today than it was yesterday with some monies going in.
Its just sometimes my bank gets shirty and returns the direct debit even though they know that I work in the Gov'n and I get regularly paid every second week (this week) which means that I would be over my over draft for less than 24 hours.
I have been there though and if you dont pick up the phone they send you obnoxios letters then have the cheek to charge ye for them. Then add over overdraft fee .
Its good to know that you have to miss two payments - although please god that will never happen.

Booti, there are loads of cheap hotels in Birmingham, I'm sure you'll find somewhere. I don't think the Travelodge will be capacity anyhows, it's very new and many people don't know it is even there!

You certainly don't seem like some sort of axe murderer to me, although OH says I turn into one at a certain time of the month or when he doesn't give into my cleaning up demands
Sorry, I keep using it but that smiley is my favourite along with
Princess
Glad you're ok hun, I've not been about much myself but I hadn't seen you or the Captain since this morning and I was praying you hadn't eloped to gretna green
I think you and Booti should go for a family room, there's more beds then if any handsome, rich male needs to stay over too

Pangley! Do I have to do ALL the thinking? We were going to go for a family room, which, if you book as a saver deal with be £49, therefore approx £25 each.
HOWEVER if between now and May, someone else needs a bed, we will have one spare in our room and then it'll cost us less money innit?!

Hi All
I don't work with PSD all though I wish I did as she does so much hard work (I want to put in a smiley but don't know how as of yet on h2g2).
We were the original two that had the first ever Irish curry lunch get together. I stand to be corrected about that but I may as well tell you as may useless pieces of Information as I can. Since then I have even met her entire family.
Since our first meeting we have gone one to have several formal and informal get togethers including one with Mamta when she was in Ireland (brag, brag). A lot of the informal meetings are generally one of the crew are in Dublin for some reason as we are dotted all over the country. I work in Dublin so it is easy for me to meet up at lunch or after work.
It is a pity that Lard Boy Curry Monster (LBCM) can't make it as he is really is a lunatic and really loves curry/pints etc.
I should be able to confirm in the next couple of days if I can attend. Any ideas of what time the get together is and where Etc. It would give me some ideas as to time of flights to get.
If someone can tell me do Ryan Air fly into the same Birmingham air port as Aer Lingus? You know the way that Ryan air have a habit of leaving you in a different country that is only a short 9hour bus journey to where you want to go.
As per usual loads of questions
