Grasshopper Posted Mar 2, 2008
Dee - that was hilarious!
You wouldn't get many portions out of 3 slices of toast - unless they were huge!

Hi All
PSD mailed me in work to let me know of this event. Is it a woman only event? If so I would fail the entry criteria test miserably.
Is the hotel that is being mentioned the travelodge at "Central Broadway Plaza".
I should be able to make the 17th of May and if there is curry involved virtually nothing would stop me from jumping over to Birmingham from Ireland, well maybe OH that does not like curry. I'm working changing that situation, the OH not liking curry that is.
I have meet PSD several times and believe me it would be a fun day out.
I have never used this h2g2 before so be gentle

No, it's not women-only. I can't make it but I'm sure you will be welcome!
I think there's an overnight stay involved too.

Hi Ainsley
It's definitely not women only and it would be great if you could make it. If you're as mental as the rest of us you are more than welcome failing that may be we could do with a sensible head to look after the rest of us
There'll be plenty of curry, and and it is the Crown Plaza Hotel. I've already booked, Sue has definitely booked, PSD and OH are booked, I think Booti and Princess have booked and probably a few others.
Get yourself over here, we'll be gentle with you.
Love aka Lisa xx

Ainsley,
Of course you can come to the Brum meet which is why I sent you the email!! .
It is the Crown Plaza Travelodge that we intend to stay but I have NOT BOOKED yet as I have the mortgage etc this week and am being sensible .
I will be booking on Friday though I think. Ryanair are doing good flights and we are flying over on Saturday afternoon - I think about 1515 and coming back on Sunday at 1415 - or maybe the other way round.
I think a lad called Sequenci is coming and possibly the Cap'n although he keeps saying yes no yes no yes no - and they say woman are indecisive.
I did ask Lardboycurrymonster but think he is up to his tonsils in sudocrem at the moment .
The Dublin CC is a week after - can our livers take it Mark??
