In the news today. I find it really sad that children are no longer able to enjoy the freedom they once were a couple of decades ago.
When I was growing up (I was born in 1965) I frequently played in the park with my fellow friends. In fact from the age of 10 I was rarely at home until teatime as we all were...
How do you think this will affect this generation of children growing up in this scary world.
Can I also ask...do you think it is actualy less safe and more chance of abduction etc now than in the past...I am remembering Myra Hindley, Mary Bell etc....maybe the media just wasnt so involved?
